Policies on Modern Slavery, Human Rights, Environment, Corruption and Bribery

Price & Pierce Forest Products Ltd are committed to running their business in an honest and ethical manner and complying with all relevant laws and regulations. We operate effective systems to ensure that our policies are complied with throughout our supply chain.

MODERN SLAVERY

Slavery is illegal everywhere in the world, but despite that, there are currently an estimated 40.3 million people in modern slavery or victims of human trafficking across the globe. Out of the millions of people trapped in modern slavery, 16 million people are exploited by the private sector, so it is paramount that businesses take action to end these abhorrent practices. At Price and Pierce, we are committed to playing our role by ensuring that through our management and operations, we have the systems, policies and processes in place to identify any potential instances of exploitation and, if found, eradicate modern slavery in all its forms from our business and supply chain.

HUMAN RIGHTS

Throughout our supply chain, we expect that all their employees and contractors will be treated with respect and dignity and that they comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations. We also expect them to comply with all relevant minimum wages, working hour regulations and conduct operations in a manner that is free from discrimination and harassment.

ENVIRONMENT

We support independent third-party audited chain of custody certification for all forest products.

We expect companies throughout our supply chain to comply with all applicable environmental regulations and adopt procedures to minimise any adverse effects their products may have on the environment.

ANTI-CORRUPTION AND BRIBERY

We do not offer, promise, or give any financial or other advantage to any company, their employees or agents with the intention of obtaining preferential treatment in obtaining orders and contracts other than at normal arm’s length terms.
