We recognise our environmental responsibilities in every country and region where we source or sell timber or other forest products, and we are committed to responsible purchasing. We have established a due diligence system to ensure that certified products do not include raw material from controversial sources such as:
- Threatened and endangered species classified by CITES
- Timber that has been illegally harvested
- Areas where traditional or civil rights have been violated
- Timber from forests in which high conservation values are threatened by management activities
- Timber from genetically modified trees
We are Chain of Custody certified for FSC® and PEFC, independently audited processes which allow us to maintain accurate chain of custody records for timber and timber products from certified forest areas.
